Old Blue left this review about The Masons Arms
Formerly the Masons Arms, the Riverhouse Inn comes across as a restaurant, b&b and bar, in that order. It has a lovely garden, with gravel paths and well looked after raised flower beds. The menu includes pub classics and more exotic dishes, more reasonably priced than I expected. Drinks on offer, as well as the wines and top shelf, include lager, cider, Guinness and Courage best on tap, and there are two hand pumps, one offering Brains IPA and the other empty. I paid £3.59 for a Brains, the most expensive ale I’ve had in the area.
The Riverhouse may well be a very good eating place, but not having eaten here I can’t comment on that. This is a pub website, and it doesn’t really float my boat as a pub. Still, lovely garden and I can imagine people sitting out there in the sun even if they weren’t eating.
