A locals corner pub with a small L shaped room and beyond that a pool room. A total of six handles on the bar and beers on were Sharps Sea Fury, Butcombe Original, Dartmoor Jail Ale, St Austell Proper Job and Tiny Rebel Lemonade Stand. The Tiny Rebel beer wasn't the greatest of the day but that's more down to indifferent beer rather than down to how it was kept.

A couple of lanes behind the quayside and a lot more mellow than the tourist chaos a few yards away. Externally it is a very attractively presented building in a style that I really like. Surprisingly small inside (two room knocked-through via a functional 90 degree opening) and it was difficult to find a spare seat with just a handful of punters in. Someone had had a go at brightening-up the interior though the resultant two-tone blue everywhere didn’t really work. GBG listed, with five cask on over six with no real surprises for this neck of the woods, my Dartmoor Jail was decent if not cellared quite long enough and was served in a pitted glass (NBSS 2.5). Felt like it should be a notch better.

Small interior and very busy due to its location near the harbour, traditional with a scooter appreciation, games room to side
