A rather bland quayside pub which caters primarily for the tourist trade. The single large bar lacks character despite the strange mezzanine feature inside. The outside seating is a better bet when weather allows. The staff were over-worked and not that friendly, while the food was unimaginative slop. The clientele was mostly loud families. No real ale, just a rather boring, standard keg range. I see little chance of returning here.

I though this was a nice pub.Superb pints of Proper Job which you can take outside while you are crabbing with the grandchildren.(we caught 4 crabs and 2 little fish)

Biggin' up your own pub with a sole review (see previous review) is fair enough, but giving it 10/10 is just bloody stupid - the perfect pub just doesn't exist. If it did, it certainly wouldn't be this one which is usually packed with chavs - both tourists and locals. The restaurant is OK as are the beers ( but nothing special) but this place is only just above average and with so many excellent pubs in Weymouth why come here?
