E TA left this review about Alpine Bistro
An unusual pub business which is actually a bistro comprising a series of conjoined rooms built into a dry ski-slope complex, but very much open to the public for food and drink. The rooms are completely pine clad. The bar has a few bar stools, there is a pleasant dining room next to that, and a larger dining room with views of the slope. There is a snug called The Cabin, and there is an outside balcony with tables and chairs which also overlooks the slope. Food is mostly the burger type, though they also have a daily specials board which offers freshly cooked gastro-style dishes. Two ales on draft, both from Ringwood, well-kept and in good condition. There is also the usual range of megakeg. Worth dropping in for lunch or a pint when passing but doesn't really fit into any sensible crawl and lacks the atmosphere for an evening's libation.
