E TA left this review about Harry's Cider Taproom and Cider Shop
A modern barn-like building which houses the taproom and shop for Harry’s Cider. Once you navigate the narrow country lane there is plenty of parking in front of the building, which is on the other side of the road from the cider mill itself. Inside the bar counter is directly in front of you as you enter, the shop shelves are to the left, as are the lavatories, while to the right is an open, airy space with picture windows overlooking the orchards. There is plenty of outside seating, much of it in the orchard itself. The staff are enthusiastic and helpful. Although there are handpumps on the bar, the cider comes straight out of barrels in a small cellar room behind. On this occasion there were three of their own ciders in cask, Scrummage, Corker and Haymaker, while all their other ciders are available in bottles, and two fruit ciders were on tap. A solitary keg beer was on offer, Otter Tarka, and there were bottles of Cheddar Ales on offer as well. Food is soup or cold platters during the day, and they hold evening events where pizzas are available. There was a small TV screen in the corner of the bar area, though this was switched off. It’s well worth dropping in for a pint and getting a few takeaways, though it does become a bit of a theme park during the school holidays.
