No cask. Keg offering of Guinness, Red Stripe, 1664 Blanc, Running with Sceptres and Helles both from Lost & Grounded, berries and cherries Old Mount cider, Neck Oil, Moretti and Inch's.
Newly opened pub in Castle Arcade. Bare boarded with the brass topped bar counter against the rear wall opposite the entrance. Very ornate interior. To the left of the bar counter there is a green studded leather banquette serving several small tables and a few tall tables with tall stools on the opposite side by the stairs down to the bathroom. Less seating to the right of the bar counter, with just the same style of banquette serving a few small tables against the right-hand wall. There is another room on the left-hand side of the venue with the same style of banquette fitted fully around the walls of the room and serving many small tables. Very ambient lighting and a jazzy soundtrack playing, venue absent screens. The ceiling fans were doing a sterling job on a warm afternoon. Lots of framed photos and prints on the walls plus a fair number of mirrors in this glass fronted venue that has no natural light because of its position a good way down the arcade. There is also some seating at the front in the arcade. Welcome and classy addition to the Central Cardiff drinking den stock.
