E TA left this review about Joe's Bar

Set in the yard and outbuildings of the School Farm house, this cider bar was originally going to be called The Muchelney Cider And Beer Emporium, but the landlord, the eponymous Joe, was ignore by his locals who just called it ‘Joe’s Bar’, so the name stuck. Entry into a former milking shed is through a yard that is used for seating and parking for a collection of antique cars and tractors. Seating is benches and tables, and there is a more modern open hut at the side for al fresco drinking. Food is occasionally available, depending on whether one of the locals or a a food van is available. The bar also houses a very decrepit piano at one end. One cask ale, on this occasion Exmoor Gold, is available via gravity from the cask. Above this is a set of racks holding boxes of several local real ciders, including Joe’s own brew. It’s a shame it only opens one day a week, Friday, or I’d go in more often.
