USA western themed piece of hokum in what I think was a steak restaurant. Taking up two sides of the ground floor of the building it has entrances on Bridge Street almost immediately at the end of the bridge and another on the waterside. A big mostly empty space, a few seats and tables in the middle and edges, little decor apart from empty casks and stars and stripes flags, a few bits of neon signs that could be US related. Some hay bales, some used as seats, hint at the rodeo thing they fail at. There’s a kitchen area with seating at one end and also a stage. There’s a wall of guitars too and a screen showing US sports. I’ll let you guess what the lavatories are badged as. Usual dreary keg choice over two fat horseshoes: Moretti, Cruzcampo, Modelo, Murpheys, a cider or two and Bud which at least claims US heritage. The piped music is C&W which helps. I too suspect it won’t be here long, but we may be wrong, was it PT Barnum who said no one ever went bust by underestimating the public’s taste?

Conversion of a former Brazilian restaurant into a Western-themed "saloon bar and canteen", overlooking the river. There is one big room divided up with the bar to one side and a small stage at the other, all in fairly dark brown apart from a small VIP area in bright pink for the hen parties. It is all very spacious, with lots of room for vertical drinking, and a mixture of conventional tables, barrel tables with stools and even hay bales covered in fake cowskin. Decorations are US various, music is Country and the TV shows NFL. Oh, and the toilets are in the "Outhouse". The bar holds two stands of mostly Eurofizz, with a house lager of unknown origin and Murphy's instead of Guinness. Food is pizza and hot dogs. All in all it is just gimmickry aimed at the stag and hen parties. I wouldn't give it more than one lease period.
