Will Larter left this review about The Vinyl Whistle
This is a record shop with racks full of vinyl around the walls, several tables and chairs, and a bar at the back with a couple of keg beers. I spotted a pilsner with indecipherable name, but next to it was Kirkstall Virtuous 4.8%. I'd just had the same beer at Arcadia just down the road, but here it was better (because not so cold) and cheaper (£5.50/pint compared with £6.30). At first the pounding of the music from a mixer deck halfway back in this narrow room was a bit much for my ancient ears, but I soon adjusted to it and quite enjoyed my spur of the moment visit, caused by a 15 minute delay in the kick off at Headingley. I might even call in here again.
