Parched was nicely cooled on a hot afternoon. Since this is a craft beer bar, the prices start high and just keep going - a simple lager, cider or London Black is around £6 a pint, while Pales, IPAs and Sours are £7, £8 and upwards. I tried a couple of halves from Azvex which certainly hit the spot but, as ever with these kinds of bar, I feel the need to move on before I empty my bank account. The locals may have deeper pockets as there was somewhat of a crowd forming before I left.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Parched
Newish modern craft beer bar with seating on each side of the counter; a lounge area by the front windows and high tables going back. There is also a separate rear room that could potentially be used for dining, but that's not an option yet. Interesting selection from the row of 12 keg taps on the bar-back; not cheap, but each available in four different glass sizes. After a dither, went for Never End pale from Two Flints (£7.20).
