I was in Hoylake a little earlier than planned, but spotted this place. A converted bank, as the name implies, and good for a cup of coffee before my destination pub opened. This place is also open some evenings, and despite the cafe-type layout, I can see it as a pleasant bar later in the day. The bar counter has two taps for a house lager (only £2.95/pint), plus three other keg taps, and there are cocktails and a vinyl record player. See website and Facebook for more information.
