An excellent précis below by an esteemed reviewer, and as a [semi] local I can only echo that this appears to be a clean, bright and well-run Spoons. An excellent range of ales – all pumps in a row, rather than split into two separate banks as at most Spoons. Thanks to a) the Jan-Feb beer festival, and b) my Camra 50p off voucher, I managed to get a pint of Southwark Biscuit Town Porter for just £1.49. A bit like Marlow's Grand Assembly, this isn't a bad fit for Beaconsfield, as the town isn't solely full of well-heeled monocle-wearers. Also, the Gents' aren't a Kilimanjaro-esque schlep from the main drinking area, and (as of this visit) are the best-smelling I've encountered at a Spoons so far.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Chiltern (JD Wetherspoon)
Newly opened 'spoons, housed in the former Picture House cinema, although you wouldn't necessarily expect this from the building's frontage. The raised stage area at the far end is recognisable enough, with an old projector on display to the right. Some interesting artworks and local history panels too. Both sides of the stalls have now been partly enclosed, with the bar to the left and the kitchen opposite. Good selection of cask ales from the row of ten handpumps, with a pair each from Chiltern (including my Beechwood Bitter, £2.69) and Rebellion, together with examples from Hadrian Border, Loch Lomond and Oakham, and the regular Greene King IPA, Doom Bar and Abbot. Overall, I was impressed how well this was running so soon after opening.
