E TA left this review about Powder Monkey at the Guildhall
A modern cafe bar occupying the ground floor of the Guildhall, overlooking the Market Square in the town centre. The business is owned by the Powder Monkey Brewery in Gosport, and it sells their beers but is rather different to the Brewery’s brewery tap in Gosport itself. There is outside seating by the square, while the inside, which was once open-air, now has windows on three sides giving all-round views of the town centre. It feels more like a cafe than a pub, there bing no pumps on the bar and an abundance of coffee machines and cake stands, plus there is a lot of cafe-style food available. The craft ales are dispensed from pairs of taps at the back of the counter. Bravo Zulu Pilsner, GSB, Explosion, Drop Anchor, Drunken Sailor and one other were being served, none of it cask conditioned, though RAIB from Goddards was available from the fridge. Fine for lunchtime refreshments, though expensive for Andover, but there are more traditional pubs nearby.
