Visited on a Thursday afternoon in June. This is a new addition to Crosby since I was last in the area so I did what I had to do. Four hand pulls at the bar with just two in service at the time of my visit - offering Theakston Best Bitter and TT Landlord. Various keg available including Erdinger, Blue Moon and Guinness. My half of Landlord cask set me back an obscene £3.40. Yes that's right, for a half. Reading the previous review, it seems they are still taking the proverbial and have upped the already premium price by 30p in the space of five months.
The furnishings consist of a mix of booths and low level tables and chairs. Wood or wood effect flooring with black and white tiles surrounding the bar. It felt like a fairly new operation and much of the wood looks quite fresh. Music was a little louder and more rocky here than at Stamps, but still at an appropriate volume. There is a mixing deck and mic stand by the stairs, suggesting live music or open mic events take place here sometimes. There is an upstairs/mezzanine level, accessed via a very industrial fire escape looking metal staircase. Further seating and the toilets are up on that level.
A pie warmer was present on the bar, powered on but empty.
Service was not unfriendly, but certainly indifferent at best. The Landlord was in good nick, as it bloody should have been for the price! Nice to have tried it but it's overpriced and not much choice on the ale front, so I can't see me going back unless it closes down and reopens as something better.

Nice new addition to Crosby Village, in a nod to Antony Gormley's sculptures on Crosby beach. Bar on right as you enter, booth style seats opposite and barrel tables. Mezzanine floor upstairs. 4 pumps with 3 in use serving Ossett White Rat, Theakston Best Bitter & TT Landlord. I had a half of Landlord, priced at an outrageous £3.10. Apparently they price a pint at £4.50 and penalise you for having a half. What a damn cheek! Loses marks for that and won't be returning.
