This is a recently opened micropub, very well presented with walls in two tones of green, bench seating along one wall, a settle on the opposite wall, and other furniture dotted about. The bar is in the corner to the rear, with two hand pumps on the side and six keg taps on a T-bar facing. Cask beers are the Thornbridge version of Pale Rider and Abbeydale Deception. My half of the latter was pretty good (NBSS 3.5, £4.50/pint). I'll probably be back because they have a tap takeover by New Bristol Brewery, as part of Sheffield Beer Week, but this would not be one I would make an effort to get to otherwise. The guys running it are very friendly and have started doing a quiz every other Monday.
