Part of the Loungers chain - I think the last one I went in was in Tewkesbury and this is very similar. It's in a building that was formerly a bank, but it could have been a lingerie shop, a lampshade emporium or a hardware store, it would end up looking like... a lounge. Wallpaper and pictures in exquisitely poor taste, with stools that I have to climb on, or sofas that I'll sink into and need a crane to lift me out again. No cask ale, of course. But I did spot a Hofmeister Helles keg tap, which said "Imported from Germany", so I had a half and it's not at all bad: 5% abv, not too cold, not excessively fizzy, flavourful and only £7/pint.
