Looks like an old social club that's gone free. Oblong room with grey walls and some formerly plush red velveteen banquettes that are now shabby. Early 90s dance music in the mix. Oddly at the far end is a gated void – what lies beyond? Amazed to see a single cask, Charnwood Vixen, that was heavily aspiratored but just about drinkable (NBSS 2). Most of the patrons spent their time hanging around the door chaining their gaspers.
