Very smart bar on the way down to Grape Street. Up a few steps after the entrance area, there's often someone waiting to seat you, but luckily there was no-one around on my Friday afternoon visit, so I went straight to the bar. No real ale of course, but a slightly more interesting than usual selection of kegs. I had a half of fizz costing roughly an arm and sat down in the plush surroundings. It's a pleasant place even of an afternoon when it was ticking over nicely.

Situated in the large ABC building Side bar is situated on the corner of Quay Street and Lower Byrom Street.there are 4 beer taps on although a bit pricey. The bar opens late during the week and closes at 3am on Fri and Sat
