Seen this over facebook. For some reason, I was expected a small bar in a market type experience. In reality, its a sizeable former shop (KFC), with plenty of light from the huge windows surrounding two sides.

Excellent range of beers - with about 10 cask on. Unsure if this is a regular line up or an Attic brewery takeover but most of the cask was from them. I went for the Stirchley Brown and it was perfect. Amusingly, Hofmeister - with frozen on-brand glasses - is also availble. Follow the bear for the first time since the 80s

Mainly uncomfortable seating - there were a few cushioned chairs but taken. Music on at a reasonable level.

So a decent addition to the Wolverhampton scene, with plenty of beer choice.

An unimpressive 60s style shop unit, if I remember a former KFC, hides an excellent experience inside. On two floors, the upper is given over to a games room with pool, table football and a dart lane, although the board could do with replacing, and is furnished with pub signs. The ground floor has the bar room. Excellent service, and with a good, mixed clientele there was no TV and the music was at a decent level. Various eclectic pictures and ephemera are dotted about. Ten real ales, with an excellent Vocation Shadow Play Stout, there were also Belgian beers. A must.

New bar, currently scheduled to open late October '25. The name is an acronym of 'Perfect Ale, Cask & Keg'.
