A low budget cafe bar, family-owned and independent from any of the local holiday camps. Parking is problematic - if you're lucky you can get a slot by the adjacent shop, but if you park on the drive at the side you get abused by local morons who threaten to vandalise your car. The single-storey pub has a gated outside seating area at the front and is quite extensive inside. There is a large main bar, a small darts room at the side and an amusement arcade at the rear. The flooring and decor are basic and it feels Poulson-like in construction. There is a pool table, a couple of large TV screens showing both TNT and Sky Sports, gaming machines in the bar and darts. They host regular karaoke and bingo nights. No real ale or cider was available, just Madri, Thatcher's Gold, Carling, Coors, Worthington's Smooth Flow, Banks's Original, San Miguel and Rekorderlig on tap. The landlord made a point of chatting to us, though many of the other customers were less pleasant. Not worth a revisit.
