Strongers . left this review about The Ghost at the Feast
The Ghost at the Feast is a food and drink hall over two floors where lots of independent traders, mostly serving food, line the left and right-hand walls on both floors. The bar, run by Fauna Brewery, is found at the front on the first floor where there’s some open plan seating that was mostly taken by young families, there were more pushchairs than you’d see in a soft play centre. I went for half a 4.2% IPA from one of the ten fonts across the back bar, this set me back £3.55, which was the second most expensive drink of the day, but still 30p cheaper than I paid for half an Amstel in the Chantry. I ordered a burger from one of the food vendors downstairs and went to collect when my buzzer went off, £14 for a small burger served on a side plate, swimming in grease, not good. Just before I was about to leave horse racing was projected onto a side wall, which I thought a bit odd until I realised that the Six Nations may be about to start. There is another drink venue in the Ghost, Wine Bar and Shop by Farmyard, but this isn’t my scene, so I didn’t investigate other than noting that they had no customers. I didn’t enjoy this visit and don’t plan on returning.
