Will Larter left this review about Billy's Barr

A smart modern bar and restaurant on the camping and caravan park closed to the village. It's a large single room with beams and skylights, large windows at the end and a bar counter at the other end. Although primarily a restaurant, drinkers are welcome - I found an unoccupied high table at which to plonk my wet raincoat, my rucksack and my beer. There's a row of four hand pumps, with Hawkshead Bitter having its pump clip reversed, and the other three as per photo. I had a half of Coniston Bluebird XB, which was in pretty good nick and a bit cheaper than the beers of similar strength at the pub in the village that I had walked from (NBSS 3.5, £5/pint). I'm glad I only had a half here though, as it's stiflingly hot and not really my sort of place.
