Formerly a social club, this is now a lively town pub with a conventional bar at the front, including pool, darts and a juke box, a large performance room with a stage behind and a function room right at the back. There is also an outdoor area. Sadly beer is of the John Smiths/Carlsberg variety, with an annoying dead handpump just to rub it in.
