Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Watermans Arms
Traditional side-street pub, with a comfortable L-shaped interior painted in light colours. Two handpumps on the counter, but it turned out that Dartmoor's Jail Ale and Avocet from Exeter Brewery (£4.80) are both served direct from the casks set on a low stillage at the left-hand end of the bar-back.

Strongers . left this review about Watermans Arms
The Watermans Arms is a small L-shaped pub with bare board floor up the right where banquettes run up the right-hand wall to a dartboard on the rear wall. A jukebox sat adjacent to the dartboard was supplying some background music during my recent Tuesday evening visit. The stool lined counter to the left faces a tartan carpeted area towards the front where a U-shaped banquette sits under the left front window. On the left-hand wall is a coal fire in a very blackened stone fireplace. Standard keg was available alongside Amstel and Pravha, and the two hand pumps were drawing Theakston’s Dorset Dusk and Dartmoor Brewery’s Jail Ale. I hadn’t seen Kronenberg for a while so I decided to have a pint of that which was less than a fiver. This is a basic boozer, but the service was polite and the locals were friendly so I’ll make a point of stopping off again when I’m next in the area.
