E TA left this review about Dunes

Not a traditional pub as such, rather an entertainment venue with a lengthy bar along one end. You enter the holiday park entrance via a small car park which has some open air seating next to it and a small bar counter housed in what looks like a shipping container, Bar 51, which is the outside element of Dunes bar. You go into the adjacent building through the Reception entrance to find the reception desk at the side, followed by the bar counter. The vast majority of the shed you have just entered is taken up by tables and chairs, most of which were taken up by young families with screaming babies when we arrived. At the far end is a stage with a massive screen behind it. All around the walls were posters advertising the torments that are scheduled to be inflicted on those who visit in the evenings. There were two bouncers on the door. The bar itself has small TV screens at each end; these were showing live football and cricket when we visited. There are also gaming machines. The young female staff were confident and cheery, though one suspects they were students doing the Summer shift rather than full time employees. Only one ale on, Doombar, which was OK. Also on were Salt’s Apocalypse, Worthington’s, Guinness, Madri, Coors, Thatcher’s Gold and Haze, and Carling. Unless you’re staying at the site I shouldn’t bother.
