Fernleigh is a grand Georgian house where the many different rooms have been made available for businesses to hire out as a meeting space or maybe to display their wares for purchase. There was a steady stream of visitors walking through the building during a recent mid-Saturday afternoon visit, it felt a bit like a museum gift shop. I didn’t spot any draught, just a limited selection of bottles in a small fridge behind the counter in the café area to the right of the entrance. I didn’t venture upstairs where I assume the restaurant area is. Yes, you can come in here and just have a beer, but heaven knows why you would.
