Old Boots left this review about Black Bush
A genuine Irish pub as noted by ROBCamra, his description is about right too, the centre room is deeper and is a brick vault with side rooms left and right, some decent Irish music was on at the back of the middle room when I dropped in. Three pulls with a Spitting Feathers on one, Landlord and a cider on the others. It sells both Guinness and the better Murphy’s but not Beamish alas, there’s a Spaten and a Galway keg as well so not the usual suspect kegs. Well worth a visit.

Relative newcomer to the Chester ale scene, this is an Irish bar, but nothing like an O'Neills or any similar tosh. It's 3 rooms in the basement of Gamul House, under the Spitting Feathers brewery tap above although the two bars are completely separate entities. You enter up a couple of steps to the bar area which has 3 handpumps serving changing guests, plus there's a room on either side. We got served and went into the left hand room which is nicely decorated. It's a friendly little bar and the beers were in good nick, so we'll be back here soon.
