A trendy student place in a low rise building that looks like it might have been a garage. with the former forecourt covered in tables. There are two rooms, with most of the action in the main one that has a genuine industrial feel. A random assortment of mismatched tables and chairs leads to a small home-made stage, while shelves of books around the edges are available "to read in or buy and take out". The other wall features flyers and posters for upcoming entertainment and the second room has more tables and books. The little counter at the back has half a dozen taps, including Northern Monk Little Faith and the whole place feels nicely homespun - no expensive makeover here. It could just do with a better beer choice.
