As mentioned below this is a fairly recent start up by the people who own the Chesterfield Arms in town and the lady behind the jump explained that they originally used it as a storage facility before converting it into a micro-pub and bottle shop earlier this year. She also mentioned that it has been very successful since opening and I am guessing that a lot of that is due to the fact that the small internal room is complemented by a four additional table section with umbrellas on the off pavement driveway in front and a further enclosed courtyard garden section to the rear.
The internal space although small, is extremely bright and airy due to the front floor to ceiling windows and I found this the most comfortable of the three micros we visited on the crawl along the Chatsworth Road back into town.
As well as an extensive collection of bottles the small serving counter supports three ale pumps and four keg taps which for our visit were dispensing the three ales listed by Mr Fastard below alongside options from Glasshouse, Thornbridge and Turning Point on the keg taps. I went for the Hawkshead Five Hop ale and it was in excellent condition.
Definitely a good addition to the Brampton beer mile, and would not be surprised at all if this appears in CAMRA’s GBG next year.

Opened on 11th April 2025, this is a typical micro shop conversion with a colour scheme supposedly influenced by nearby Chatsworth House; the pub is on Chatsworth Road. Not only is this a micro pub, it’s also a bar-cum-deli, shelves replete with bottles, jars and packets of olive oils, Piccalilli and dainty nibbles.
I went for the Resting Devil Dagda Stout, £2.25 a half and good, served by very friendly and engaging staff.
This is an interesting venture and worth a look if in the area.

A cheerful little micro - the usual single room but with seating out the front and a covered area at the back. It is connected to the Resting Devil Brewery so expect their beers amongst others from the 3 handpumps and 4 keg taps, plus an excellent range of bottles. Brightly painted, with a nice, comfortable feel and a good example of its type that is worth visiting.

A smart micropub associated with the excellent Chesterfield Arms, the large plate glass window has a drinking shelf and stools running it's length and shelving to the left displaying an array of great bottled and canned beers. There are a few small tables beyond the modest bar on the right, the doors to the beer garden and outside loo are in a distinctive turquoise and the lighting well thought out.
The couple servering were most welcoming and the three handpumps were offering Resting Devil Dagda stout (NBSS 4.5),Ashover Turning Stone and Hawkshead Five Hop (NBSS 4.5).There were also 4 interesting looking indie beers on key keg.I really enjoyed my crawl visit ,this is another must visit when in Brampton and must surely make it's way into the next GBG.I will be back.

A very smartly kitted out micropub, which is sister to the Chesterfield Arms in Stonegravels. The pub has a medium sized interior with an adequate sized bar area serving 3 cask and 2 keg beers. The left hand side shelves have a good range of bottled and canned beers. There was a small patio out front along with a rear courtyard. Their 3 cask were Farm Yard Brew Chaff, Pentrich Midnight Sushi and Thornbridge Crackendale.
