No cask just half a dozen keg offerings of Guinness, Moretti, Heineken, Stella, Hurlimann Swiss lager, Bear Island East Coast Pale Ale and the Orchard View apple cider.
Curious and a bit ramshackle golf activity bar that the golf activities were frankly laughable. They seemed to be split between the front of the ground floor and downstairs and looked so unchallenging to card a low score that it would surely make everyone here look like a scratch golfer. Other than that, there were a variety of seating areas, lots of leather banquettes fitted around wall contours and regular tables with lots of netting diving up the venue. The pool table at the rear left-hand side provided the most competitive action I witnessed on my short visit. Plenty of TV's again focussed on the upcoming evening footy action by being tuned into Sky Sports News. Ramshackle though the venue was, it wasn't the worst place to pop into for a regular keg beer and watch some sporting action. The background music was nicely subdued and enough in early evening to create a pleasant (and in golf watching humorous) atmosphere.
