Listed as a separate venue to the White Lion and initially I was a bit sceptical. However the Lion was closed for a private function so I was forced in here instead, though the staff were happy to fetch ale from the other bar/pub if asked for. Anyway, the whole thing is run by run by Lincoln Green Brewery. Two ales were clipped in this one though there was a blackboard telling you what was on next and door and as mentioned it was available for bring-in. This venue is a foody operation with a carvery on the go. Modern pop music and corporate blue interior as well. Scoops of Lincoln Green Quarterstaff (a little pump tired but just about an NBSS 3) and Sheriff (which was completely was fag-end 1.5 - swapped for Marion with no fuss which was fine but a bit flat NBSS 2.5). I was either really unlucky or they don't hard spile their casks overnight. I left disappointed.
