As below, I am not entirely sure this is a pub but it is certainly somewhere you can get a drink. Describing itself as a Vinyl Cafe and Listening Room, it is basically a glorified record shop with walls well covered in music prints, instruments and memorabilia. The tables are also decorated with album covers. At the back are the racks of old vinyl records for sale and a small bar and mini kitchen. No beer lines but a good selection of tins and bottles is available, including a number from Brew York and Rudgate; sadly prices are on the craft scale. Various food is available, including pies and toasties. The juke box is on free play and there is occasional live music. Not a bad place if you fancy something completely different.

As there is no draught beer I’m pretty sure this isn’t really a valid entry on the site, there is a range of cans and bottles and you don’t need to buy a record. The better beers are from Brew York and Rudgate, there are also wines and spirits plus cafe hot drinks. Cafe style seating at chairs and tables, the table tops are covered with album covers, I sat at the David Bowie table, Dolly Parton, Bruce Springsteen and others are available. The walls have photos of popular (?) music artists and more album covers. There’s a door with autographs of the turns that have performed here live. Obviously as it’s at least partly a record shop specialising in vinyl there’s almost constant music, the owner may even perform himself when it goes quiet.
