Modern bar with a few craft beer options close to East Croydon station. I was the only customer on a Saturday lunchtime visit with the barmaids outnumbering me.
The bar is against the front left wall. As Graham says below, beers are listed on a BrewDog-style display behind the bar and it wasn't particularly clear where some of the beers were from. Those listed included Trickle Hazy Pale (not sure of the origin, but possibly Purity), Purity Session IPA, Brew By Numbers IPA (not sure which one) and Vault City Strawberry Sundae. I ordered the last one, but neither barmaid had any idea who brewed what was just listed as "Strawberry Sundae Sour". After much checking of their menus and lists, I showed the more senior one a picture of the Vault City logo and she went to the cellar and confirmed that it was indeed Vault City! I suppose most people don't care.
The space itself is as described below. It all feels fairly trendy, but minimalist. There was however a photo booth to the rear, in case you suddenly decide you need a passport photograph. It gave me a timely reminder that I wasn't supposed to be here at all. I would have been on my way to a dry state in India had my boy's passport photograph not been rejected!

This occupies a big retail unit in the bottom of a modern residential block and is fitted with reasonable furnishings and nicely painted walls but has a ghastly unfinished industrial ceiling revealing the drainage pipes from above - why? The bar counter to one side has a row of wall taps and a Brewdog-style listing board above - all keg, many by Purity, mostly IPAs and nothing remotely brown, never mind dark. A shuffleboard table is present for entertainment and food is of the pizza/wings variety. There is also a large collection of umbrellaed tables on the pavement outside. I suppose it's somewhere for the office wallahs to go after work and it's handy for the side entrance to East Croydon station but is otherwise forgettable.
