Personally, I find it an honour to be able to enter these establishments. C15th, now a rather posh hotel but for a fiver, you can spend as long as you like in front of a huge fire, on leather chesterfields, enjoying a North Cotswold Windrush Ale.

The front room and bar have a real pubby feel - low ceiling, stone flagged floors etc. Obviously not a locals pub but a rather delightful of one end of the pub scale.

Community back street local tomorrow.
