No cask. Keg was Meantime Anytime pale ale, Guinness, Peroni and Asahi. Range of bottled beers but no draught cider from Gordon!
Typically, plush example of this chain. Nice lighting, boarded throughout, with a U-shaped bar servery against the wall just opposite the entrance, past ample outside seating with large umbrellas providing cover in all but the worst of the weather. Most of the tables in here were set for dining but there a dozen or so high-backed leather stools at the bar counter reserved for drinkers. Upstairs dining at least and maybe further drinking space but didn’t fancy the trek for no likely additional beer reward, indeed defaulted to a glass of red here, that sort of place and that sort of day.
