No cask. There are eight sets of eight taps along the length of the bar counter, each duplicating the beers on offer, which were Pravha x2, Madri x2, Staropramen, Sharps Atlantic Pale Ale, Aspall cider and Blue Moon. As soon as I approached the venue I could have guessed most of the beer offering!
Modern elongated oval shaped venue at the opposite end of Canada Square Park to the big Waitrose. This one stretches the width of the square and has a boarded terrace out front in the park with 8-10 small round white tables and chairs. There is also a roof terrace that I didn't venture up to on my visit. Inside the bar counter stretches pretty much the length of the venue with the serving side facing the park. Tables and chairs occupy the space the other side of the bar with no bar service that side. There are a few tall tables and high-backed leather stools in front of the bar counter, the front of which is an attractive dark green wood.
There have been a few temporary bars on this site over the years, namely Grandstand Bar (spring and summer) and Off Piste Bar (over the period the ice rink is set up in the park) but this feels like a permanent bar has been erected on the site that will do well all year round given the demographic here, but not my kettle of fish.
