Graham Coombs left this review about Alnwick Brewery Co & Taproom

A very nice brewery tap located in large old agricultural buildings (latterly a turkey farm) on the A1068. Entering the courtyard through impressive gates, we were greeted by a splendid malty aroma, later discovered to be the latest stout brew. Up a few steps is the tap room, in a converted stone barn. The counter is at one end, with a large traditionally-furnished room containing a piano and log burner at the other, although it was pleasantly cool on a hot sunny day. At the back is a rustic beer garden overlooking fields. All beers were their own: Ruby Ale, Belgian Blonde and Alnwick Gold on handpump and Amarillo Pale and Citra Pale craft keg. To the side is a large stack of bottles also. Other drinks are a bit limited, with just a few gins and rums on offer, but beerwise it is very good and in excellent condition as might be expected. If you like brewery taps, you'll love this one. Note it is currently closed on Sundays.
