I found the two barman behind the bar (maybe the owners) to be very welcoming and chatty. I went for the Neptune Jetty, which was appropriate as the owner of Neptune brewery and his Mrs were in having a beer.
The interior is modern with dark blue upholstered buttoned back banquette seating down the far wall and a matching booth along the front, the interior did have a slight 1930's style. I particularly liked the colourful retro style pictures along the back wall and the bar design. Two handpumps serving Neptune Jetty and Titanic First Class. There was also ten keg taps along the back wall.
Another plus for me was the collection of craft cans and Belgian beers in the fridge near the bar. I managed to get a couple of Vault City sour beers from a choice of 16 different ones.

Fairly new bar/micropub opened in a former shop not too far from Waterloo station. Apparently, they have been open around 6 months.
The single room is fairly small with the bar occupying the far end. Dogs are welcome and there was definitely a smell of wet dog in the pub. Although, that could have been the one present. On the bar, there were 2 handpulls. One was clipped rather appropriately with Burton Bridge Damn Dog, the other with Titanic White Star. Craft beers were Northern Monk/Timothy Tayloe Northern Uprising, Tiny Rebel Cali Pale, Verdant Chromacity, Beak Hum & Bullhouse Suds.
The owner/barman seemed quite friendly, as did the other customers. So, I wish them well in their venture. One minor annoyance was the serving of beer in two third measures. I'd normally order just a third in such establishments, but wasn't quite expecting here and was caught a bit off guard. This trend for not serving halves seems to be an annoying and unwanted development.

Recently opened micropub at Cremona Corner. One fairly small room with a decent sized beer garden to the rear. Mainly bench seating which isn't particularly comfortable. We ordered a pint and a half and were served a pint and a 2/3 measure without being told. The beer quality ws OK, but not as good as their close(ish) competition. It's better than the Trap & Hatch, but nowhere near as good as the Four Ashes or The Old Tap.
