Passed this one a couple of times on the CJ end of Lavender Hill. Quite a large single room layout with a raised area with tall stools on left of entrance and which has a large circular glass skylight with one of the more ornate chandelier’s you would see in a routine pub. This side has a couple of TV’s that clearly are tuned into the sporting action of the day. There is a central bar with some attractive glazed tiling and a busy open kitchen to the right and behind of it. The right hand side is more laid out for dinners with a mish mash of tables, sturdy leather chairs and a wrap around multi coloured leather banquette on the far walls. There is an outside seating area to the left of the pub but close in proximity to a busy road.
Beer wise it is just routine keg, with Madri, Moretti, Pravha and Bitburger lager, Guinness, Signal Turbo Joost, Neck Oil, Aspall cider, Jubel Peach. Nothing too exciting there.
Bit surprised this one hasn’t been picked up previously as a pretty straightforward, middle of the road pub, albeit with a name that makes it sound like a fancy cocktail bar. Could be above average with a better beer range.
