Visited in previous incarnation as Near & Far within the last year but can’t find date of visit in my records.
This is a bar on three levels a quarter of a mile or so from Chalk Farm tube. The bar is on the small sized ground level just inside the front door. There are areas behind the bar both basement and mezzanine sort of level plus a rooftop terrace that was closed tonight for a private function.
Beer choices are just a plain lager offering (so Moretti, Heineken, Estrella and a couple of others). I seemed to be the only one here asking for a beer - everyone else was on cocktails. A happy hour meant my bottle of Moretti was almost supermarket prices!
Best thing I could say to sell to myself the purpose of being here was the windows were open and it is an interesting spot to watch the world go by for 20 mins! Also I am always happy making a trek to Camden and now ticking this place off (again) means I don’t have on my list of unticked Central London venues after a few places have popped up since I was last fully ticked off!
