Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Passyunk Avenue Fitzrovia
Small Philly-inspired bar and eatery, rather hidden away in a quiet Fitzrovia side street. Compact bar at the front, with a larger dining room up a couple of steps at the back, together with the Nick Foles bar downstairs and several pavement tables. All parts full of Americana, with any gaps on the walls filled with messages written on $ bills. Six London-made but mostly themed beers on tap, made by Mondo and Sambrook's (including my licenced Passyunk Gold Digger, £6.50 plus an irritating 88p for table service).

A smaller branch of the American sports bar/restaurant chain, mainly aimed at food but you are welcome to sit at the little bar for drinking. Walls and ceilings are liberally covered in US sports memorabilia and dollar bills with several screens showing US sports - basketball on this occasion. 6 keg taps offer a selection of mostly obscure American brews - the only one I had heard of was Pabst - and Sambrooks Pagoda for some reason. The staff are of course American, as is the food. Did I mention the general American theme? In case you wondered, Passyunk is an area of Philadelphia, with the name derived from a native American dialect word for valleys.
