A small shop conversion with room for three high tables and stools along with some drinking shelf space, sitting or standing. For better weather there is a larger courtyard beer garden at the rear of the pub. The small servery to the back corner of the room has ten wall mounted keg taps with a good range of styles including mild, stout, IPA and so on , about half the beer menu consisted of upper strength beers north of 6%, some not cheap but top range stuff. Described as a Taproom and Bottle Shop it doesn't conform to the traditional definition of a micropub but the lines are blurred nowadays, this type of pub might not be to everyone's taste but a good addition to the town
