Old Boots left this review about The Bottle Bank

Located in an old bank, it’s a fine building with mullioned windows although the innards have been gutted. A long thin room with a short counter to the right, low banquette seating to the front and left side there’s a small room beyond and then a garden. There’s also a room upstairs that I didn’t investigate. Old board floor and a dark blue paint job with little decoration, an old photo of the street outside is about it. Beer wise we have two thick horseshoes with the same kegs duplicated, nowt wild, just nationals plus a couple from the Clarkson stable at Hawkstone. The three pulls had one from Dancing Duck and one from Welbeck Abbey, my Dancing Duck Abduction was pretty good. It has unlabelled unisex/disabled toilets towards the back right, although the toilet isn’t wheelchair friendly.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Bottle Bank

A splendid looking sandstone building on the high street, with the Railway station nearby. This historic building has been used by a number of banks down the years, three in total. This was previously a bar and was taken over again with another refurb and reopened in Sept of this year.
The pub's main attraction is to the younger crowd, sipping on cocktails, Gins and Wine. They serve food and advertise live music and various events on a weekly basis.
Two handpumps with one in use, which was Langton Top Lock. My beer didn't taste the best and the manager ran down to the cellar, returned and poured off two full pints, which did remedy the condition. I surmised that it had been sitting in the pipe for quite sometime.
