No cask. Keg offering of six taps, with three from Villages, the Rodeo pale ale, the Big Salad IPA and the Dream Boat pale ale. The other three offerings were Ansbacher lager, Hogan’s cider and the pale ale from Kernel.
This is a typical shop fronted tap room, long and narrow with an industrial flooring with the sleeper-based bar counter in the rear right-hand corner. There are a couple of tall red leather stools at the small front side of the bar counter, with a couple of identical stools at a ledge in the front right-hand corner. The small amount of other seating is via some tall stools at a couple of barrels and a couple of trestle tables along the front part of the left-hand side served by a wooden bench against that wall. The right-hand wall from the ledge in the front right-hand corner to the bar counter is occupied by floor to ceiling industrial shelving holding the bottle and can collection, including a decent amount of wine choices. Cold bottles and cans in tall fridges along the wall in the rear left-hand corner opposite the bar counter. There is a small open kitchen in the rear right-hand corner. There are a couple of trestle tables and benches on the pavement out the front if you fancy your daily dose of CO in one short session. This is a well-stocked independent bottle shop and tap room that seems to have a good local following.
