No cask. Keg beers all their own I believe apart from the Orchard Gold cider? Their beers offered this evening were Born Sippy a Kolsch style lager, Now in a Minute a Welsh Red Ale, Stouty McStoutface an oatmeal stout, Hair of the Dog a session IPA, Marmalade an IPA, Third Eye Blind a session pale ale, Ticket to Rye a Rye IPA, Class Act a classic Belgian ale, Impy McImpface an imperial stout, Apollo Valentina a NEIPA, Uncommon Ground a coffee stout, Zeus Juice a mango NEIPA and Born to be Mild a dark mild.

Cardiff outlet for this craft beer brewer. Glass fronted and along the front of the left-hand side. Inside it is terrazzo flooring with the bulk of the seating provided by benches and stools looking like they were put together off the back of a scaffolding lorry. The bar counter is a metal topped affair in the front right-hand corner. There is some small table seating around the perimeter and an industrial ceiling with the brewing equipment off the rear right-hand corner. A projector screen in the rear left-hand corner with a stage in front thereof occupied by a band in set up and tuning on my brief stay here. The venue was rammed on my early Saturday evening visit. Whilst I quite like their beers, I assume most here were for the band!

Craftykeg brews only in this 2022 opener. In predictable fashion this is a large square room with the usual crafty get-up of scaffold tables etc plus the usual smattering of pink haired Omnicause types in attendance. Five of their beers kegged with four others guesting. I tried the stout which was fair, if a bit rough round the edges. As with many places of this ilk, one visit is probably enough for me.
