Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Hourglass

A very swish micro-pub, with a square room at the front featuring furniture and decoration reminiscent of an upmarket bistro café. The bar counter occupies most of a smaller room behind this, with a little kitchen at the back. More seating can be found under cover of a side alleyway of the left-hand side and in the rear yard (along with the gents toilet in a shed, which seems a bit incongruous here). Three cask ales on handpump: Bass, Abduction from Dancing Duck and NVB Simple Pleasures (£4.90).

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Hourglass

This micro pub former cafe consists of a front room and bar area housed in the smaller back room, plus a terrace beer garden. Four handpumps serving their regular Bass and three guest ales which were Grasshopper Brewery Cricket, Nene Valley Release the Chimps and Collyfobble Brewery Barlow Sesh. The beers we tried were very good. Also had a nice relaxed atmosphere and the owner was very pleasant.
