The establishment is well described by Quinno, below, though my experience appears to have been more positive than his, possibly because the business has matured in the meantime. Apart from the IPA, which was off, all the Rude Giant brews were available on draft, and there was a guest beer, Vibrant Forest’s Inaudible, which was in excellent condition. The empty front room didn’t appear to have a roof, so given the weather conditions, we went straight into the main back room where a local band was playing on a stage in the corner, not as awful as we thought they might be. That room was full of tables and benches which made it feel a bit like a school canteen, though a huge glitter ball hanging from the ceiling soon diffused that image. Food on offer was burritos, and there was a large TV screen on the wall, thankfully switched off. The young staff were friendly and helpful, and the other customers left us to our own devices. It was very quirky, but it somehow it worked for us.

Large place of the ‘thrown together at minimal expense’ variety. An empty front room on entering though a tweenage gofer caught me looking like a dementia patient out unaccompanied and guided me to the whitewashed warehouse rear room where the bar is located (the ceiling of which was covered by some sort of jumbo fabric) and attendant pub quiz. Ten keg with three of theirs on (though Inch’s cider and Guinness take the real crafty offerings down to eight). Went for a third of Juicy IPA to take to my basic table which on tasting was just a malty grainy mess, really. I suppose it serves a niche in Salisbury but I’d be unlikely to want to head back under my own steam. 5.5
