Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Cricketers (Stubbs)
The pub section of the upmarket Stubbs restaurant operates under a separate name and has its own side entrance, but both parts are linked through a corridor at the end of the bar. This is a smallish square room with very traditional furniture / decoration and a warming log-burner. Just Harvey's (£5.45) available from the pair of handpumps, but at least it serves cask beer.

Recently refurbished former hotel on the A28 in the Kennington district of Ashford. Mainly a restuarant-needed in the culinary desert that is Ashford-there is a small bar to the front of the establishment, serving, on our August Bank Holiday weekend visit, Harvey's SBB and a decent pint of Goacher's Fine Light.
