Blue Scrumpy left this review about Baaa 38

This was the best of the new pubs we tried in Chorley. It is a fairly compact bare boarded pub split over 2 floors. Walls are painted dark blue and a window opens up to the road with a drinking shelf creating an airy environment in the heat. There are pictures of sheep on the walls.

The bar is to the rear. It featured 3 cask ales - Rivington Beach House, Whitworth Valley Drop It Like It's Hop & Escape If The Caravan's A Rockin'. Ciders were Lilley's Cherries & Berries, Rum Cider, Rhubarb Cider, Raspberry Mojito, Select & Mango Cider & Thistly Cross Whisky Cask. Craft beers were Brewdog Wingman, Camden Easy, Vocation Hop Giant, Bowland Black & Rivington Fall Out of the Sky, Never Known Fog Like It & Joulez Santana.

Various events, such as poetry and sewing nights were being promoted. Despite being fairly quiet, service here was friendly, the beer quality was spot on and we found it to be a nice, relaxed drinking environment. Good Beer Guide listed.
