Blue Scrumpy left this review about Bow- Legged Beagle
The newest of the Bow-Legged Beagle chain, I arrived here shortly after opening at 1pm on a Saturday lunchtime. It was quiet with just the barman and myself until another couple arrived and sat in a fenced patio area to the rear. There is also seating on the pavement to the front.
According to CAMRA, this is the largest pub in the chain but having been to the other 3, I don't think there's that much difference. I must also say that I preferred the other 3 to this one.
The bar has laminate flooring and turquoise coloured seating in a micropub style. There are lots of pumpclips on the walls and a mixture of music types was being played.
4 handpulls on the bar were dispensing Ossett White Rat, Butterley & Barghest with the odd one out being Beartown Lit. The cider was Lilley's Mango. Craft beers are pulled from taps on the rear wall. These were RedWillow Perceptionless, Polly's Cherry & Aurora Blush, Tartarus Faun & Beak Lilta. Beers coming soon were listed on a board next to the bar, along with available wines and spirits.
I was somewhat disappointed by the beer range in here and it was a little too quiet on a Saturday afternoon for there to be any atmosphere. There's plenty of other options in Heswall to make a decent crawl of this town but nothing really stands out here.

Newest addition to the Beagle repertoire. This micro has a small beer garden to the rear with a couple of tables out front. 4 handpulls on the bar with rotating beers. 8 keg taps for fizzle stuff. A good addition to the area.
